PS 295 Hurricane Relief Efforts

As you know, many families from south Florida, the Caribbean and Puerto Rico have been hit hard by hurricanes Irma and Maria.

Ms. Jackson’s family is from St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. She and PS 295 have set up a COLLECTION BOX, located in the cafeteria, underneath a set of windows near the 19th St entrance and mail delivery area. Items will be shipped to St. Thomas, directly to the Family Resource Center Inc., a local reputable community organization: http://frcusvi.org/donate/  Items Needed ASAP: disposable diapers (All Sizes), Depends, sanitary napkins, baby wipes, triple-acting antibiotics, toiletries, sunscreen, insect repellant, rubbing alcohol, bleach, Borax, Pine Sol/cleaning agents, clothes, laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, flip flops (ALL Sizes), batteries (ALL Sizes), flashlights, pillows, towels, twin/full sheets, buckets, water cases.
