Dial-A-Teacher

Have a question about your homework? Use Dial-A-Teacher and talk with a qualified, licensed New York City classroom teacher is available for students in all grades. This free program has been provided to all NYC students by the United Federation of Teachers since 1980.

Call 212-777-3380 during open hours: Monday—Thursday (4–7pm) on days when school is in session. Languages spoken: Armenian, Bengali, Chinese, English, French, Haitian-Creole, Russian, Spanish and Tagalog. Subjects available include English, math, science, and social studies.

Libby is a free mobile app to read age-appropriate ebooks, audiobooks, read-alongs narratives, and magazines on every device, including mobile app, computer, or Kindle.
